Creating stationary on a budget can be fun and easy. You have to be creative and have a plan as to what you want to do! For the invitations we saved on stamps, because we hand delivered the ones that were within a 5 mile radius.  We also included the Thank you cards as one of the invitation inserts. We put our heads together and ended up maximizing our card stock and creating amazingly beautiful stationary items that went great with the couple’s wedding!  To see how it all turned out, I included the Inspiration Board below!

How to Be a Calm Budget Bride

Trying to stay calm before your wedding is definitely hard.  Most brides work or go to school while they're planning their wedding, so that just adds on to the stress.  I just recently had my own wedding, so I know how hectic your schedule gets in the past two weeks.

So, how can you stay calm in the weeks leading up to your wedding without spending a ton of money to go to the spa?

1. Go to a yoga class.  A lot of studios offer your first class for free or if you're already a member of a gym, check out the group classes they offer.  This will make you feel centered and connected with your body.  Both of which are perfect for right before the big day.

2. Take a walk in the park.  If you have a dog, let them join you.  This will give you time to connect with nature and clear your head.  This time of year is the perfect time to head outside, so go and get some fresh air.

3. Go on a date night with your fiance.  Go out to your favorite restaurant and talk about everything but the wedding.  You probably haven't gone on many dates since you've been saving for the wedding, so go and enjoy yourself.

4. Have a girl's night.  Go out with your girlfriends for drinks.  This will loosen you up and you'll forget all about the wedding.

5. Do something you love.  You don't have to do anything special to relax.  If you love playing tennis, gather up your racket and hit the court.  If you love scrapbooking, dedicate a whole day to an album.

Whatever you decide to do, make sure to enjoy yourself and don't focus on the wedding.  Getting your mind off the wedding for a few hours will help you be even more dedicated and focused when you get back to the grind.

Etsy Review: AKA Creations

My photographer was one of my favorite vendors from our wedding.  She gave us a fantastic deal and she became like a friend to me throughout the whole process.  I wish I would have thought of this great idea closer to our wedding.

I was browsing on etsy the other day and came across AKA Creations.  This is a shop that sells camera strap covers for a really good price!  She has camera strap covers for as cheap as $8.  As soon as I saw it, I knew that this would be a great idea for a little gift to your wedding photographer.

Camera straps add style to your DSLR camera as well as add a little padding so that the strap doesn't hurt your neck.  Great idea for someone who wears their camera around for 8 hours at a time.

Here are a couple of my favorite camera straps from her store:

AKA Creations sent me one of their gorgeous camera straps to review.  The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that the fabric was gorgeous.  Bright and cheerful.

It was a little difficult to put over my camera strap because it takes a little while to thread your strap through the fabric.  If you only have one strap cover though, this isn't a big deal because you probably won't be taking them on and off too frequently.

The strap is not padded at all, but it's a lot more comfortable than the standard strap on my camera.  I've worn it around for a couple hours and it's definitely comfortable.

The strap slides around on your strap a little bit, but not that big of a deal at all.

I would highly recommend AKA Creations for camera strap covers.  They're adorable and very affordable.  They'll also make your camera more comfortable and stylish.  I'm sure your photographer would love one!

Here's me with my fancy new camera strap.  Love it!

I was given a camera strap cover in exchange for this review.  All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
