If you're wanting to stay in the US for your honeymoon a great place to travel to is Disney World. Especially if you're a Florida resident, this could be a cheap, but amazing trip for your to celebrate your married life.
One of the best ways to experience Disney World is to stay at one of their resorts. You will get extended theme park hours, complimentary airport and resort transportation, and they also have a dining plan that you can buy that will allow you to eat pretty much anywhere on their resort. They have a variety of hotels to stay at, so you're likely to be able to find one in your budget.
If the Disney resorts are out of your price range, check out hotels around Orlando and Kissimmee. Most hotels offer free shuttles to the park so you won't have to worry about paying for parking.
When you're booking tickets to the park, make sure to take advance of any discounts that you are eligible for. Florida residents get a great deal, so if you live in this area, definitely ask about that. Military also gets good specials on their tickets.

I just got back from Disney on my honeymoon! It was super fun! The only recommendation I have is don't go during the holidays, it is PACKED! Other than that, it was great!
I used to work at a hotel right outside Disney called the Caribe Royale. It seriously was like 1 mile from Disney and they have a beautiful resort with both suites and villas.
They also offer complimentary shuttles to the parks.
Oh how I'd love to go to Disneyland one day. Shame it's on the other side of the world to me here in Australia!
