Reception Music List

I'm having a really hard time deciding on a lot of the important dances for the reception.  It was easy to come up with a must play and a do not play list, but I can not pinpoint the important songs.

I highly recommend you write a do-not play list for your DJ.  That way he doesn't play any songs that you absolutely hate or songs that were important to you and an ex.  A lot of people put dances like the Electric Slide on there, but I personally like most of those, so I put them on my must-play list.

You have some great songs on there. We are still trying to come up with some songs for things like the Grand Entrance and the cake cutting...we have some ideas but haven't nailed anything down.

I wish I could put Eminem on our do not play list but I am sure Mr Fix It will absolutely require it :( Whatever...I love your first dance song - Rod Stewart is a fave! I suggest doing some google searches for those things...you'll find DJ sites with lists on them for suggestions.

I absolutely love your list, Ash! I listen to Slacker radio at work all the time and I am constantly writing down songs ideas. You have made a great list with awesome selections. I may have to share this my fiance! Thanks again for posting!

I'm seriously cracking up about your "No Eminem!" thing. We had a sweeping rule of "no rap!"

The song I'm most proud of finding for us was our first dance: "Your Precious Love" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Tarrell.
