I had planned on showing you a mock-up of our invitations today, but that's not going to happen. My invitations are not printed yet. We are having so many problems with them, that I'm about to say screw it and just call everyone and tell them when it is.
I bought 110 lb. cardstock from Walmart and tried to use J's boss' printer to print it out. I guess the paper is too big and it's making it smear when it prints. So, we used the other printer in their office and it doesn't print clearly. So now I have to go out and find lighter paper and hope that solves our problem.
I tried to print them on our home computer, but the color isn't coming out right at all.
So, now I'm annoyed and want my invitations to be finished!
On a happier note though, the UPS man should be here anytime with our envelopes and I can start addressing those!

Oh boy, I wanted to call everyone with Save the Dates so I can only imagine how I will be with invitations! Isn't an evite appropriate?! C'mon haha
oh no, I'm sorry today was a bad printing day. But try not to worry to much about it, the lighter paper should do the trick! Good luck! =)
I'm not sure if this suggestion will make sense for the design of your invites, but I was surprised by how inexpensive it was to upload my invite design online and have it printed by Kinkos-Fedex. I had 150 invites printed (75 pieces of cardstock) for around $18. Now I am adding embellishments (die cut flowers with button centers) at home.
In any case, I hope you're able to get those invites the way you want them soon. It's so frustrating when things hit a snag.
I totally relate to this! I have some DIY projects I am printing on our printer at work and it has been giving me all kinds of problems...it is the best as far as colors and quality, but it never lines everything up correctly or it prints crooked using odd shaped papers or stock :( Hope it works out for you...almost makes me wish I had just had it handled professionally.
